Coronation Street killer Todd Boyce unrecognisable in new role in huge video game

Todd Boyce, the star of Coronation Street, may have just recently departed Weatherfield, but he has already earned a big new role in a video game and has completely changed.

In dramatic moments, the actor’s character Stephen Reid killed Leo, Teddy, and Rufus, setting off a big Corrie plot in which the actor played the lead role.

When Stephen’s attempt to escape the nation completely backfired during Super Soap Week in October, his reign of terror came to an awful end.

Stephen was forced to take drastic measures in an attempt to avoid his destiny due to the police crowding around him, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) pursuing him closely, and Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) stealing his passport.

Once Stephen attacked Tim, took Jenny captive, and rendered his niece Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) unconscious, he was eventually stopped when Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) crashed his vehicle into him, killing him nearly instantaneously.

Even though Todd’s tenure at Corrie is coming to an end, he still has a number of other gigs lined up, including a video game series called Alan Wake.

In Alan Wake 2, Todd plays the lead role in the follow-up to the hugely successful survival horror game.

The actor, with a beard, long hair, and a sheriff’s costume, appeared completely unrecognizable when he uploaded a photo of himself on Instagram while in character.

He referred to the game as “a psychological horror story filled with intense suspense & unexpected twists” in the post’s title.

Todd has other roles in the works as well; he recently disclosed to Metro.co.uk that he will be appearing in a Laurence Olivier play.

Many members of the Corrie cast will be seeing my play, which I’m performing at The Lowry.

I was informed that if I wanted to make murder mysteries, I would suddenly have access to countless of them. An actual murder mystery was presented to me, but I was unable to accept it.

It will be difficult to finish me off if this Laurence Olivier role, which is a two-hander with just ink conversation on the pages, is provided to me.

Todd will also be performing in the Derby arena’s Mother Goose panto this Christmas.
