Emmerdale spoilers: Troubled Vinny hides terror following vicious Aaron showdown

What’s going on? (Picture: ITV)

In Emmerdale, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) has been going through a difficult period since Liv’s (Isobel Steele) death anniversary. Add to that Aaron’s (Danny Miller) unannounced return, and Vinny is dealing with a lot.

The scrapyard owner has had a difficult year, and Aaron’s sudden appearance in the hamlet with his death wish inclinations and distaste for everyone around him has made it ten times worse.

The fact that Vinny has unintentionally turned into Chas’ (Lucy Pargeter) informant after she asked him to watch her son who is acting strangely is just one more thing on his plate.

It’s about as much pleasure to be sandwiched between the two as it is to swallow a piece of glass.

Additionally, Aaron has forced his way into the company by taking advantage of devoted clients—if Rodney can be considered devoted—and making an imminent threat to an impoverished, helpless Vinny.

This was demonstrated earlier in the week when he became enraged and began smashing cars while venting over Vinny betraying him and Liv.

Aaron has then made a U-turn and accused a dumbfounded Vinny of intentionally making money off of Liv’s passing. Aaron had earlier forced the scrapyard upon Vinny following the loss of his sister.

Aaron unleashed a violent rage on Vinny (Picture: ITV)

Vinny begged Aaron to keep in mind their relationship as he angrily refuted the hurtful accusations and expressed shock at Aaron’s conviction that he had never loved Liv.

And when Vinny defended himself, Aaron grabbed him hard and gave him a dire ultimatum: he had one week to give him everything, including the whole proceeds from the sale of the business and the property, or face consequences.

Vinny isn’t doing well when you combine all of this with the current family problems he has to deal with, including the quest for Craig’s killer when someone decided to implement Dingle Law.

It’s been quite the year for Vinny (Picture: ITV)

Though Vinny is undoubtedly having difficulties in the scrapyard, he chooses to keep things to himself so as not to add to Mandy’s (Lisa Riley) anxieties as she is concentrating on Lydia (Karen Blick) and the rest of the family.

He’s struggling to stay afloat, therefore this is a horrible decision for him. When Billy (Jay Kontzle) realises what’s going on, he tells Vinny how frightened he is.

Will Vinny be saved by Billy?
