Next week, two Emmerdale stalwarts might meet their demise as the net tightens around Samantha Giles’s now-criminal Bernice Blackstock and Emma Atkins’s decision to leave the village for Charity.
Enforcement authorities arrive, and Bernice’s deception throws the Kings into disarray.
Although Bernice is hiding, sister Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) finds her and confronts her quickly.
Does Bernice have a future in jail given the possibility of police involvement and the announcement that Sam Giles is departing the show?
After growing tired of Mack Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) lack of decisiveness, Charity makes the decision to travel to Scotland and live with Debbie.
But in an attempt to stop her and express his love, he acts dramatically. Though it appears that he has finally decided, Chloe (Jessie Elland) abruptly passes out as he is about to dump her.
Next week, there will be further medical emergencies. Lucy unexpectedly goes into labor and is in excruciating agony when Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) finds Gus and Lucy to confront them about the embryos.
Will everything be well and can she arrive to the hospital in time?
Monday November 13
Jimmy is shocked and furious to learn that their possessions have been confiscated by law enforcement on the pretext of a fictitious twenty-grand debt, and that Bernice, the perpetrator, appears to be at large.
Bob is horrified to discover that she has not paid suppliers, and Gabby, her daughter, is devastated by her mother’s repeated desertion. When Nicola, the wife, refuses to report Bernice’s deception, Jimmy confronts her.
Nicola, who is desperate to find her sister, becomes suspicious of Cathy’s carefree demeanor in another place. Fearing that Nicola may report her, Bernice hides away in Brook Cottage.
Cathy keeps Bernice informed in private on the response from the outside. Bernice decides to stay at the last minute, but Nicola discovers her soon after and stops her from leaving. She admits to the reason for her deception, but Nicola is forced to either accept her offer or face the police.
The gap that is being enforced between Mack and Charity is sad. Later, Charity has an idea: she can go to Scotland and be with Debbie, and that would help her get away from the turmoil.
He begs Charity to stay by lying down in front of her car after learning of her intention to leave the area. Mack suggests that when they both declare their undying love for one another, they get back together officially and that he will finally break up with Chloe.
Mary begs Marlon to give Rhona his secret information when he shares it with her.
After the kids quarrel after a playground tumble, Aaron teases Billy.
Tuesday November 14
To keep the police out of the picture, Bernice consents to give Nicola her part of the B&B.
Mack is ecstatic to have Charity accept and get back together with him. But he understands that this means he must now truly shatter Chloe’s heart.
Nevertheless, Chloe passes out in the kitchen, stopping Mack’s plan to dump her.
Charity observes in shock as Mack drives Chloe to the hospital in the back of an ambulance while it is unclear whether Mack informed Chloe that she was discarded before she passed out.
After fighting to keep Gus a secret, Marlon tells Rhona, who is taken aback, the truth.
Dawn discovers the truth about Billy and Aaron’s altercation at the playground yesterday after hearing Paddy’s thoughtless remark in the veterinarians.
Wednesday November 15
Billy and Aaron are again at odds, while Dawn’s thoughts are consumed by the baby shower that Gabby has planned for her.
A brawl breaks out in the shop as Billy is provoked by an enraged Aaron. Will was compelled to separate them. When Billy, who has been beaten, comes home, Dawn is not impressed at all since he let Aaron get him into a fight.
Startled When Rhona asks Ethan for legal counsel, he informs her that she will face a difficult legal struggle with Gus and Lucy.
Rhona makes plans to meet with Gus tomorrow after Marlon and Mary persuade her to speak with him.
Thursday November 16
Rhona finds herself guarding Gus’s house when he doesn’t show up. When Rhona sees him trying to flee with luggage, she is horrified.
Rhona is devastated after confronting Gus when Lucy, who is obviously unaware of the embryo theft, shows up very pregnant and thanks Rhona for everything.
As they return to the village, Marlon and Mary worry more and more that Rhona has vanished.
Rhona and Lucy are having an intense altercation on the street when Lucy collapses over in agony, her waters burst, and Rhona has to drive her to the hospital.
Dawn is concerned about the talk of painkillers in the prenatal class she attends.
Bob is anxious about his prospects at the B&B.
Friday November 17
As Mack keeps trying to maintain his composure, pressure mounts on him. However, he soon has to make a choice.
Kim becomes embroiled in Billy and Aaron’s conflict, while Jimmy and Nicola plot behind closed doors.
