EMMERDALE star Matthew Wolfenden has sparked fresh hope that he and wife Charley Webb are reuniting after fears they had split.
It comes after The Sun told how their 15 year relationship in jeopardy as they live separate lives.
Matthew unfollowed his wife on Instagram earlier this month, raising suspicions that there could be problems in their marriage.
However, the actor has already followed Charley again on her profile by clicking the follow button.
Matthew hasn’t written about her or left a remark on any of her recent photos despite this move going back more than a year.
“When Charlie and Matthew first started dating, they were in very different places in their lives,” a source said.
“After raising three children and juggling new careers, everything has changed, and they might not be the same group they once were.”
When Charley and Matthew initially got together in 2007 on the Emmerdale set, they got engaged in 2009.
The three-child pair had separated in 2013 and remained apart for two years before getting married in a surprise ceremony in 2018.
After serving as David Metcalfe in Emmerdale for eighteen years, Matthew recently left the show and immediately began training for his new part in Elf.
Since leaving the serial opera two years ago, Charley’s career has flourished, and she most recently had an appearance in the ITV thriller The Long Shadow.
Sheridan Smith and her have gotten close, according to insiders, who state that the actress has helped her both emotionally and professionally.
Matt spoke candidly about their demanding schedules during his appearance on Loose Women last week.
He acknowledged that his parents had to step in and assist in raising their three children, Ace, Bowie, and Buster.
