In forthcoming EastEnders scenes, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) will have to make a significant choice after learning shockingly that Albie is not Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) son.
Sharon was married to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) when she became pregnant with Albie, but as she had been having an affair with Keanu, she decided to take a home DNA test to find out whether the baby was indeed his.
After the test results revealed that Phil was not the baby’s father, Albie was raised with everyone thinking Keanu was his father.
Albie, however, was found to have Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AADT), a genetic disorder caused by a gene inherited from both parents, according to the findings of a recent blood test.
The results of Keanu and Sharon’s tests showed that while Keanu lacked the gene, Sharon did, proving that he was not Albie’s real father.
Since Phil had been ruled out by the home DNA test, Sharon was unwilling to accept the horrific conclusion that Albie must be his.
Sharon was forced to accept it, however, when the physician maintained that Keanu couldn’t be Albie’s father and that the results of the home test were erroneous.
She tried to tell Phil the truth while she was still reeling from the revelation, but after an altercation, Sharon left before she could tell him.
Similarly, she learned how much Albie meant to Keanu at the conclusion of their talk, even if he was still in the dark.
As the only person aware of the truth is her brother Zack Hudson (James Farrar), Sharon must make a crucial choice. Does she keep the truth to herself or does she tell Phil and Keanu the truth?
Sharon was seen talking with Phil in new photos from Monday’s (November 20) episode of the BBC soap opera.
They may be discussing business given that they are at Boxing Den, but because Sharon is carrying such a big secret, is it possible that she will soon be able to let it go?
What will it entail for Albie’s future, whichever course of action she takes?
