Emmerdale spoilers: Another major exit story as two key characters flee the village

Following the horrific car incident involving Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb), Charity (Emma Atkins), and Chloe (Jessie Elland) in Emmerdale, it’s possible that two more characters will be leaving the town.

Mack was adamant about leaving Chloe for Charity in recent scenes, but his plot to dump her was foiled when she fell.

Charity is concerned that Mack may break his pledge to stop things since Chloe continues to think that everything is well with them.

But when he eventually breaks the news to Chloe, who is shocked, he quickly shows her that she didn’t need to worry.

Chloe pretends to be tough in front of Mack, but when she later tears about it with her sister Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson), it’s evident how upset she really is.

When Chloe sees Charity and Mack sharing a kiss on the street, things only become worse. Chloe quickly lashes out at Charity.

Unfortunately, Mack’s retaliation won’t stop there. She has noticed how severely Chloe has taken their split.

Driven by resentment, she tells Amy that she intends to flee to France with her son Reuben in tow in order to prevent Mack from ever seeing him again.

Actress Jessie Elland said, “I think France comes up because she is just trying to get as far away as possible and she has an old school friend there that can help her get settled.”

She wants to be someplace that Mackenzie can’t easily get to. In part, she wants to exact vengeance on him by keeping him from seeing Reuben, but she also wants to protect her own emotions and lessen the likelihood that she would be harmed in the future.

Mack and Charity are having a wonderful evening together and have no idea that Chloe has purchased tickets for Reuben to go abroad.

Everything seems to be going according to plan for Chloe, but then Sarah (Katie Hill) notices that Reuben has a passport and packed luggage, so she tells Mack and Moira (Natalie J Robb).

When they realise what Chloe is about to do, they go outside in an effort to stop her.

Will they have enough time to reach her?
