Coronation Street spoilers: Gutted Nina pushes Asha closer to Isla

In recent scenes on Coronation Street, Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) feels as though her girlfriend Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) has marginalised her. She quickly becomes concerned that Asha Alahan may have pushed Nina Lucas even further away.

Isla, the person Asha has been paired with for her paramedic course, has become a new friend.

Asha thinks Isla is the greatest person ever, and she constantly compliments her.

Actress Tanisha Gorey said, “[Asha] is paired with this amazing paramedic who’s been there for years.” “She’s seen it all and knows exactly what she’s doing.”

“I believe she’s so ecstatic and overwhelmed that she almost feels like an idol to her.” Asha aspires to be like her. Asha aspires to know everything and do everything that she does.

Though Asha may not be aware of it, Nina isn’t quite as enamoured with her girlfriend’s new best friend, and it’s obvious that she is beginning to feel a little jealous of all the time they are spending together.

She jumped into something, and her life has never been the same. Tanisha clarified, “She’s never really at home—she’s always working.”

Because she is so enamoured with the work itself, I don’t think she steps aside at first and asks herself, “Is Nina taking this the wrong way?” That is not something I believe even crosses her mind.

In later scenes, Asha offers to take Nina out for a night on the town so they can spend some quality time together, but it’s too late because Nina has other plans.

Nina says she has already made plans to meet her college friends, but Asha encourages her not to cancel and says she will make plans to see Isla instead.

Nina is devastated that she forced her girlfriend into another meeting with Isla when she had the chance to spend time with her girlfriend.

Afterwards, Adam Hussain’s character Aadi Alahan muses over the circumstances and advises that they try harder to hang out with each other’s friends.

After the girls agree to consider his advice, Asha sets up a lunch date between Isla and Miles, their senior colleague.

Nina hears Asha praising her to her friends and portraying her as a successful up-and-coming fashion designer when she gets to Speed Daal.

Will their relationship truly begin to falter, or will the remainder of their meal be successful?
