In the Emmerdale episode airing on Wednesday, November 22, Caleb Milligan (William Ash) takes a break from his intense crush on Tracy (Amy Walsh) to do some research.
His suspicions were directed at Kim Tate (Claire King), the lady who had been the subject of a complex vengeance scheme that Caleb had devised when he had first moved to the area.
Caleb Tate’s father, Frank Tate, had previously married Kim, and he held her responsible for Frank’s death. When Kim understood what he was up to, his plot to ruin her by stealing her house, her company, and whatever else he could get his hands on, failed.
After that, Caleb and his son Nicky (Lewis Cope) moved to the village and gradually integrated into the community, starting a company with Nate (Jurell Carter) and Cain (Jeff Hordley) and winning the Dingle family’s approval. You can tell Caleb is a true Dingleman since he has even drank from the Dingle welly.
However, an interaction with Kim at the café at the beginning of this episode demonstrated that his past hostility for Kim Tate still exists.
When he inquired about Lydia (Karen Blick), who was staying at Home Farm to cope with the fallout from being raped, his suspicions were aroused. Caleb saw Kim’s peculiar response when he brought up rapist Craig (Ben Addis).
He later saw her in the village, riding her horse. He enquired, “Is this the horse that killed Craig?” Everyone is aware that the horse killed Craig, but at the time Kim was said to be far away from the horse, which had gotten free.
Kim subsequently revealed to Will (Dean Andrews) at the Woolpack that she felt uneasy about this interaction. “He can’t find owt if there’s nothing to find,” Will said.
Kim, however, wasn’t so sure and called Cain.
As viewers will remember, Kim was galloping along on her horse when she saw Craig, who was stumbling in a field after Sam’s (James Hooton) vicious beating, while Cain was encouraging him.
Because of what Craig had done to her friend Lydia, Kim was in no mood to provide a hand. Craig seized the reins in desperation, which made the horse charge at him and kick him. He was lying on the ground, and Kim could see he was almost dead.
At that moment, Cain showed there, and the two of them devised a scheme to let Craig die while pretending that none of them was involved.
Kim was uneasy because Caleb was skulking about, even though their account had placated the cops and they seemed to be in the clear.
She warned Cain over the phone, “We can’t have him finding out what really happened to Craig.” Since Caleb was listening, it was definitely not the greatest idea to make this call in the Woolpack.
Caleb thought about it when he got home. He informed Nicky that Cain was involved in Craig’s death and that there was an unexplained element to his passing.
The best course of action, according to Nicky, was to question Cain directly about it.
Caleb said, “Maybe I should.” Is the truth about to be revealed to him? If true, what will he do with the knowledge because his sibling shares the same guilt as his worst enemy?
