Watch ‘nervous’ Coronation Street icon Paula Lane commence filming at Emmerdale in first video

Paula Lane’s first appearance in her brand-new role on the ITV soap opera Emmerdale has been released.

The actress, who previously starred in Coronation Street, will portray Ella Forster, a kind and sympathetic girl who is about to face hardships.

At a veterinary ball Ella is going with her boyfriend Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), she will run across Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley). Ella will lose her job as a result of standing up for the salon owner.

Ella, determined not to give up, soon meets Rebecca Sarker’s character, Manpreet Sharma, via coincidence and accepts an opportunity.

Actress Paula Lane expressed her excitement about her new role by saying, “I’m so excited to be joining the cast of Emmerdale.” I’m excited to begin a new chapter as Ella since everyone has been so friendly.

I’m excited to see her adjust to a new life in the village and, perhaps, make some friends. I’ve heard there are great plans for her.

The Emmerdale Instagram account recently revealed a little glimpse inside Paula’s shooting for the show and the appearance of her new character.

Paula may be seen in the video wearing pink scrubs with the brand “Bargain Vets” on them.

Greetings, says the actress. This is my first day in Emmerdale; my name is Paula Lane.

She continues, “I’m just about to walk on set, I’m a little bit nervous but, I know all my lines, it’s going to be good,” expressing her feelings before to being on set.

We are eager to see her in action!

Paula is well remembered for her role as Coronation Street’s Kylie Platt, who sadly her away in 2016 after being stabbed in the arms of her husband David (Jack P Shepherd).

Paula has appeared in Call the Midwife and Father Brown after leaving.
