Recently in Emmerdale, Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) and Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) had a disastrous night out when Suni was assaulted at a pub by a homophobic guy named Mike.
Knowing that Nicky wouldn’t be able to hide the truth that Suni’s father Amit (Anil Goutam) was there when Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) passed away, Suni had already dumped Nicky.
They decided to go on the night out they had previously scheduled with Ethan (Emile John). The night got off to a bad start when Nicky ran into Gabby (Rosie Bentham), who obviously despises him because he abandoned her on their wedding day.
After Nicky and Suni made up, things started to improve; however, Gabby’s buddy Mike made a homophobic remark about them when he saw them together.
After their kiss, Mike attacked Suni, and Ethan was detained by the doorman while Nicky was prevented from assisting by Mike’s friends.

Ethan was arrested by the police for pursuing Mike after Suni’s assault while she was being carried away by ambulance.
Future episodes will show how this terrible event has affected everyone, as Ethan discloses that he was fired from the legal firm after running afoul of the law.
Amit, the father of Suni, and Caleb, the father of Nicky (William Ash), who had earlier gotten into a heated argument over Amit’s alleged assault on Nicky because he is homosexual, suddenly found themselves united in their cause.
Both of them are enraged that Mike, a homophobe, assaulted their kids, and they’re resolved to take action to get vengeance on Mike and create an odd coalition.
And they’ve got their target in sight when Ethan passes them a letter with the attacker’s identity.
