EastEnders spoilers: Stacey makes a furious accusation and threat as Eve remains missing

In upcoming scenes on EastEnders, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is expected to lash out angrily, as her best friend Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) is still missing.

Stacey is getting more and more concerned for Eve’s safety because she hasn’t heard from her in days.

She is naturally alarmed to receive a Christmas card from Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis), a menacing stalker who recently entered a guilty plea to charges of harassing, stalking, and attempting to rape her at her request.

She is horrified to think that Theo might be responsible for Eve’s disappearance as she reads the card—a form of retaliation for forcing him to enter a guilty plea.

Stacey discusses her concerns with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), who shares her concerns. She then speaks with the police, who devastate her by informing her that there is nothing they can do.

Enraged, Stacey threatens Theo in a message, asking him to stop if he has caused any harm to Eve.

Later, after her threats, Stacey is alarmed to find her front door on the latch when she gets home. She fears that Theo may have broken in.

She doesn’t waste any time in calling Scott Maslen’s character Jack Branning, who reassures her that no one is inside and that Theo has relocated to Scotland, where he can no longer harm her.

Although it is obvious that Jack is upset with her for contacting him, Stacey quickly bites back and stands up for herself, even though she later decides to apologise.

Audiences will be aware that Ravi Gulati and Nish Panesar (Aaron Thiara and Navin Chowdhry) are the real culprits behind Eve’s disappearance; they exacted revenge upon learning of her extramarital affair with Suki.

With the police putting increasing pressure on Jack and Stacey to uncover the truth about what truly happened to her, Ravi and Nish realise they need to devise a scheme to confuse people.
