A sneak peek of Sharon Watts’ (Letitia Dean) and Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) Christmas Day wedding has been made public by EastEnders.

After being hinted to in a flash-forward scene that aired in February, the ceremony has been in the works for over a year.

In the recently revealed photos from the much awaited holiday episode of the BBC One soap opera, Sharon goes down the aisle—and yes, she is wearing that dress.

At the altar, Keanu is waiting for his fiancée; both of them are beaming and eager to be married. But the real issue here is whether the wedding will go place and if the pair will be declared husband and wife.

Viewers are aware that Keanu is hiding a significant secret since he planned Albie’s kidnapping to stop Sharon from removing him from the nation.

The events that transpired saddened Sharon, and Keanu immediately regretted what he had done. Last week, Karen’s (Lorraine Stanley) involvement in the kidnapping scheme came to light. The mother accepted full responsibility, which let Keanu off the hook.

However, because this is EastEnders, fans are all too aware that in the end, the truth always comes out. In relation to the truth, Sharon also has secrets of her own; Keanu is not the only one.

It’s not Keanu’s kid, Albie.

This year, the former Queen Vic landlady made the revelation that Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) is Albie’s father. Though she had her doubts, Sharon chose to hide the truth from Keanu and Phil, enabling the latter to continue thinking that Albie is his.

Will everything become clear on the wedding day, though?

If so, how will the murder that is scheduled on Christmas Day be affected by these brutal facts?

Fans were transported to Christmas Day in the previously stated flashforward episode, when six of the most recognizable ladies from the program were standing over a dead male body.

Sharon is one of those ladies in her wedding gown. Who will end up dying, Phil or Keanu? Considering the program has reduced the options to seven guys, it is very definitely conceivable.

They include Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), and Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley), among others, along with Phil and Nish.

Who will perish, though?

To find out what happens on Christmas Day, you’ll simply have to tune in! We assure you that you won’t want to miss this.

On Christmas Day, EastEnders airs these scenes at 9:45 p.m. on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
