This year has seen many deaths in Emmerdale, and most recently, Craig Reed, the rapist of Lydia Dingle, passed away in a strange accident.
Fans of Emmerdale appear to believe that Kim Tate, portrayed by Claire King, may wind up behind bars due to Craig Reed’s (Ben Addis) passing. Craig let Sam Dingle (James Hooton) go after giving him a beating, believing that was the end of it.
But as Craig stumbled across Kim’s property, he ran into the owner of Home Farm and begged for assistance. Craig was killed when Kim’s horse kicked him in the stomach during an argument after Kim had declined to assist him.
During Friday night’s installment, Kim finally came clean and told Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), who had previously assumed her husband was to blame for Craig’s death. However, she neglected to mention that Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was also present.
Kim threatened Cain about what had happened to Craig towards the end of the episode, but many viewers seem to believe Kim might be exposed for the unintentional death.
Not only do Cain, Kim, Sam, and Lydia know the truth, but the mechanic also told Caleb Milligan (Will Ash), and it’s no secret that Caleb has looked for any opportunity to exact revenge on Kim.
Using X, the former name for Twitter, users could express their theories about Kim. One such theory put forth by @arngelar was, “Why do I feel like Kim is going down for this? No #Emmerdale, please.”
After that, @Emmerdale2dae continued, saying, “Cain and Kim confrontation coming #Emmerdale.”
“I really wish Kim hadn’t confessed to Lydia,” said @Winis_World. I don’t think #Emmerdale will end well.”
As @SG902110 continued, “Scene involving Kim & Cain. For that #emmerdale, I’m here.” (sic)

“Did Kim do the right thing by killing Craig?” Miss Sarah Wolff enquired.
Kim warned Cain during the confrontation, saying, “You should be careful, you have seen what my horses are like when anyone upsets me.”
“This isn’t funny,” Kim retorted, and Cain retaliated, saying, “Lydia is my friend; I couldn’t watch her torture herself.” However, when I said, “This is done,” I meant it.”
Kim said to Cain as he started to leave, “I hope you haven’t forgotten that you still owe me for this, or I might just remember seeing someone on my land after all.”
The mechanic remarked, “It’s a bit late for that,” while Kim teasingly remarked, “I’m sure I can come up with something if I needed to.”
