In response to inquiries about the prospect of staying on Coronation Street, Kimberly Hart-Simpson stated that she would “love” to play Nicky Wheatley again.

As viewers will remember, Nicky was first shown as a prostitute who Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) grew close to after Sinead Tinker’s (Katie McGlynn) passing.

After her first appearance, the character became recurring, and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan), who was dating Daniel at the time, became irritated when she was reintroduced as a teaching assistant at the school.

The last time the character was seen, she was being driven home from the police station by Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) in his taxi.

Nicky has gained popularity among the show’s viewers, and we’re sure that many of them would be thrilled to see her return to the cobbles.

Kimberley stated, “I mean, I have returned,” when talking about the prospect of playing the same role again.

She continued, “Of course, I would love to go back there,” to The Express. And I haven’t passed away yet.

“I had an amazing time there, but who knows what the future holds.”

Kimberly explained to fans that her storyline had concluded, not that she had left Corrie, following the airing of her last appearance to date in July 2022.

You won’t know for sure what will happen in the future because there wasn’t a major farewell scene in Friday’s episodes, but I do know this. I owe Corrie so much, and I adore everything about it—the people, the atmosphere, and the street,” she remarked.

“Life is a series of chapters, and I am eager to read the next one.”
