Car chase crisis for Mack and Charity as they close in on Chloe in Emmerdale spoiler video

After ex-lover Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) fled Emmerdale with their son Reuben, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) was left in disarray, but was he on the verge of finding her?

When Mack told Chloe that he was leaving her to return to his relationship with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), she was devastated. Mack had gotten another woman pregnant and had lied about it for months, but for some reason, Charity was ready to accept him back.

Devastated by his betrayal, Chloe made the decision to exact revenge on him by planning to escape the town with Reuben in tow. Mack was left wondering whether he would ever see his kid again.

But in later scenes, Mack received information about Chloe’s location from Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano), whose girlfriend Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) was certain of Chloe’s location.

Amy has now concealed her whereabouts, having been aware of Chloe’s scheme from the beginning.

But when Matty told Mack that Amy knew where she was, Mack devised a scheme to go with her the next time she went to see her sister.

Charity was completely on board with this plan and consented to go with him. In a recently released spoiler video, they begin their quest.

But when Matty and Amy become caught at a set of traffic lights, the cars behind them start making noise, which prompts Matty to turn around and try to identify the issue.

Amy turns to see Mack and Charity for herself as he acts shady after spotting them a few cars back.

Amy is enraged to learn that Matty must have slipped up, especially after she previously cautioned him that Chloe should be the object of his loyalty rather than his family.

Now that Amy and Matty know what Mack has planned, will he succeed or will they step in and make it impossible for him to find his son in the future?
