Following David Metcalfe’s (Matthew Wolfenden) departure from the Emmerdale town a few weeks ago, fans were left to wonder what became of his young son Theo.
After learning that Vic (Isabel Hodgins) and Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) were dating, David left the Dales.
David had been telling himself for weeks that he would soon get back together with Victoria, not realising she was becoming in love with his son, until he found out this information.
David made the decision to relocate to London in order to be closer to his daughter Amba and her mother Priya (Fiona Wade), as he was unable to handle the enormous betrayal.
Fans were confused when Theo did not even make an appearance during the poignant sequences as David’s family members waved him off.
But the ITV soap opera confirmed in a line of conversation on Tuesday, December 12, that Theo did, in fact, leave with David.
One Emmerdale fan commented on Twitter/X, saying: “Theo mention, he did go with David!”
Observing the progression as well, another fan remarked, “So the invisible Theo did go with David.” A second fan repeated these ideas, saying, “They have suddenly remembered Theo!”
David learned his father Eric (Chris Chittell) suffers from Parkinson’s illness before to his departure.
The adored figure has most recently made an effort to accept help from Manpreet, Jacob, and Brenda (Lesley Dunlop).
After striking up a conversation, Eric promised to ask Manpreet, who works at the local surgery, any worrying questions he may have anytime they spent time together.
Character exits from Emmerdale have been quite the year. The likes of Rishi (Bhasker Patel), Dan (Liam Fox), Naomi (Karene Peter), Bernice (Samantha Giles), Priya, and Victor (Eddie Osei) have all passed away.
