Emmerdale: Chloe Harris’ dad unveiled as ITV soap villain returns in shock twist

This week on Emmerdale, Chloe Harris’ father has finally come to light. On Thursday, viewers will discover his actual identity as a villain in a shocking revelation.

This week, Chloe and her mystery father—who was initially referenced in 2021 and was initially believed to be Damon Harris—met in the iconic ITV soap opera, which debuted some startling moments, according to the Mirror. Furthermore, it has now been established that her father is actually a well-known character and that he has previously shown himself to be nasty on the programme.

Dingle’s nemesis Harry, who was last seen on TV in October after being driven over by Aaron Dingle, is none other than Chloe Harris’ father. Thursday night’s episode included a meeting between Chloe and an unidentified someone with whom she had been corresponding over the phone earlier in the season.

Chloe soon came to refer to the man who had emerged as “dad” when they met. As the camera pans up to reveal Harry, Chloe is addressed as “sweetheart” by Harry.

Chloe immediately confirmed that he was his partner when she said, “Hi, Dad.” After the first twist in the programme, Harry asked his daughter how she was doing and she replied that he looked well. He talked about his release from prison and his “tough” year, mentioning his run-in with the Dingles.

Then, viewers discovered more about the growing distance between Chloe and Damon or Harry. “You came to see me every week for the first few months after I got sent down, then nothing,” he said to Chloe. Not a single letter, phone, or visit. The whole wing was shaken when Damon Harris’ daughter left him.”

In response to the name change, Chloe enquired, “So you were Damon inside? You weren’t, Harry?” Though the identity of Harry’s real name remained a mystery, he declared: “I’m Damon, Mr. Harris, Dad, to everyone else. Only business associates call me Harry now.”

After that, Chloe’s father talked about her discovering who her real mother was, Kerry, and said he never would have let her work for the family if he had known. Chloe then faced her father, who had been going to tell her the truth about her birth, but had been prevented from doing so by the death of her sister.

They talked about Mackenzie Boyd, Chloe’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her kid Reuben, after he stated that all he had ever wanted was to keep her safe. Damon then acknowledged that he had been following Chloe for the past few years and was aware of everything that had happened, including Mackenzie’s departure for Charity Dingle.

He inquired, wanting to know why Chloe had gotten in touch with her: “You’re not happy are you? Why don’t you tell me what is actually going through your thoughts, since if it weren’t, you wouldn’t be here?”

Chloe clarified that her intention was to leave the community, start a new life, and permanently part ways with Mackenzie. She immediately requested fresh passports and IDs, asking Damon to arrange for them. It was implied that he was planning something else.

He disclosed that he had surreptitiously entered the hospital and remained at her side, having witnessed her auto crash-related unconsciousness.

It was evident that Chloe wanted Mackenzie to leave her alone when Damon stated, “I’ll take care of it, so don’t worry.” We will discuss our plans in further detail in the morning. You don’t need to worry about anything going forward since I’ve got this.”

This information comes after Chloe and Harry (Damon) participated in two separate, massive storylines in October, during which Chloe was injured in an automobile accident alongside Mackenzie and Charity Dingle.

Mackenzie had to decide between Charity and Chloe as the car hung off a precipice, and he went with Charity. Chloe fell off the cliff while still in the car, but he saved her.

After coming dangerously close to death, Chloe ultimately came out of her coma and pretended not to recall anything that had happened, or that Mackenzie had saved Charity rather than her.

In a different plot, Harry got into more difficulty with the Dingles after he took Chas Dingle hostage. Harry had been targeting Chas’s nephew, Nate Robinson, and brother Caleb Milligan since some shady business transactions had gone awry months ago.

He wasn’t having any of it when it came out that he wanted the illicit business activities at Caleb’s auto company to go on.

When Caleb and his brother Cain Dingle attempted to locate Harry after he kidnapped Chas as a form of retaliation, her son Aaron ran them over.

Since Harry hasn’t been seen, what more tricks does he have planned? Weeknights at 7:30 p.m., ITV1 and ITVX broadcast Emmerdale, with an hour-long episode airing on Thursdays.
