Inside ITV Emmerdale Scots actor Lawrence Robb’s life including famous girlfriend

Lawrence Robb plays the role of Emmerdale bad boy Mackenzie Boyd however his life away from the ITV soap is a lot more peaceful with his Glasgow girlfriend and two pups.

After appearing in Emmerdale in 2020 as Moira Dingle’s long-lost brother Mackenzie Boyd, who was dispatched to cause havoc and has since dabbled in local loves and affairs, Scottish actor Lawrence Robb gained notoriety.

But after the dramatic car collision scene on the ITV soap opera, he was forced to choose between Charity Dingle and Chloe Harris, and he soon turned into a character that fans love to despise. Afterward, he went back to his former wife.

Despite the fact that they had just had their kid, he shockingly deserted Chloe, with whom he had cheated on Charity, when she left the community without asking permission and took their baby with her. Mack said that he had made up his mind on who to settle down with.

Thankfully, his life is much more tranquil away from Emmerdale since he enjoys the great outdoors with his well-known girlfriend, actress Joanne Thomson, who is from Glasgow.

Viewers are familiar with her from her roles as DS Lisa Harvey in the BAFTA-winning BBC drama The Suffragettes, ITV’s In Plain Sight, and the BBC One drama The Victim.

Lawrence was raised close to Glasgow in a little community known as Kilmacolm. With two brothers, JJ and Mitchell, and a sister, Abi, he is one of four children who has stayed loyal to his Scottish heritage throughout the years.

Lawrence, who studied musical theatre, takes pleasure in his singing abilities and likes spending time with his two dogs. The Mirror also mentions that Lawrence has a hidden ability that many may not be aware of.

The celebrity, who was born in Glasgow, had even considered a career in music instead of acting, but he eventually developed a strong taste for the spotlight and found a happy medium where he could play live and share his songs on social media.
