Coronation Street spoilers: Ed Bailey makes desperate plea about missing wife Aggie

Trevor Michael Georges’ character Ed Bailey, a gambling addict, is in a dangerous situation on Coronation Street.

His wife Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw), who is still away from the Weatherfield taking care of a sick relative, is also on people’s minds.

Since his wife and the rock are no longer around, Ed has resumed his covert gaming, and things have become worse.

He started robbing his family and accruing crippling debt as a result, and things only got worse.

Ed has lied to the clan once again after the ‘burglary’ that occurred at the home just before Christmas, which resulted in the gifts being removed in order to partly make up for what he owes.

The Baileys received an update from Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), who informed them that there was little hope of apprehending the perpetrator.

Ed was eager to tell everyone to forget about it and go on, but Ryan Russell’s character Michael wasn’t having it.

When he persuaded Craig to go at the CCTV footage of a local store, it became apparent that shifty Ed was up to no good.

When Ed got home, he sobbed and told his family what had happened, along with the reason for his gambling addiction’s return.

When he threatened to lose the home, everyone was taken aback, and Michael snapped at his father, demanding him to go.

Channique Sterling-Brown, aka Dee-Dee, attempted to defuse the tension by saying that the past was past and that the problem now needed to be solved.

However, Michael refused to back down and became furious when he asked him to keep what he had done from Aggie.

Ed begged again, terrified that his mother would leave him, but Michael was adamant on getting his mother in the photo.

Aggie was going through enough right now, so Michael ultimately chose not to tell her, but he was ready to distance himself from his father.

Later, Ed pretended to be his brother Ronnie over the phone and confirmed that he wanted to move money into his own account, demonstrating that he had obviously not yet learned his lesson.

This is going to end terribly. Will Ed lose his family as a whole as well?
