In EastEnders, anxious Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) appears to lack the killing instinct of the other members of The Six and has committed some serious mistakes while being questioned by the police.
The stalwart, who was adamantly in support of calling the police in the first place, made a major error, proving that she may be the weaker link when the ladies gather their facts and make an effort to elude the authorities.
Additionally, it can have serious repercussions for one of the murdering sextet members.
After an almost dead Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) was discovered clobbered on the Queen Vic floor, detectives had a lot of unanswered questions.
The Six were upfront about their presence, although they have attempted to blame Keanu Taylor, who is secretly deceased (Danny Walters), for it.
After stabbing him to death to save Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) was assisted by her pals in disposing of the body.
All that’s left to do is make sure that a) he never gets discovered and b) they can persuade the police that he assaulted Nish following a major altercation and hostage scenario.
Nish was being questioned together with Kathy, Denise, Sharon, Stacey, and Linda; she was on life support but appeared to be doing well.
They were all conveying the idea that Keanu was carrying a knife, which is why they were unable to call the police sooner.
When Denise pretended to be Linda to a visiting police officer at the Vic (why, Denise!?), it was revealed that Keanu had made her do so in order to fend him off.
The businessman’s mockery of the failed wedding and the enmity between Keanu and Nish have been identified as the main causes of the altercation.
Alright, so some of it could be exaggerated, but if everyone is cautious, everything should work out.
But more than everyone else, Kathy was under strain, and she first forgot the specifics of Keanu’s intended destination and the reason behind the altercation.
Worst of all, she unintentionally deviated from the main plot and disclosed that Suki, Nish’s wife, had fallen in love with Eve Unwin, played by Heather Peace.
Detectives were intrigued by this because it provides Suki with a compelling reason.
Suki was surprised to be questioned about it at the hospital and said it didn’t matter, but Kathy has brought it up quite a bit.
She also has to cope with her ex Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley), who is suspicious that there is more going on in the Vic than what is initially apparent.
He is remembering things he witnessed, having drunkenly staggered around the Square around the time of the murder and the cover-up. He informed a terrified Kathy that he wanted answers, especially regarding Sharon.
Speaking about Sharon, the police learned that Keanu has discovered that he is not Albie’s father and questioned why she had not disclosed this information earlier.
The Six will need to put in a lot of effort to patch up the flaws that are beginning to reveal the truth because the wheels are falling off.
