After putting his violent son Aaron (Danny Miller) in his place and surviving a horrific ordeal to save Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb) from the villainous Harry/Damon (Robert Beck), Emmerdale’s Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) has had a busy few weeks.
In addition, she recently admitted to being lonely to vicar Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin), and for a little while, it appeared as though they were going to have an inappropriate relationship.
But when she moves past her difficult period, her attention is drawn to another villager.
It appears like Chas might need Mr. Sensible’s assistance to maintain stability and tranquilly in her life after all of the turmoil.
After an undeniably difficult year, Chas and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) are both eager to move on and forget their pasts.
After spending time together, the two suddenly get closer.
As they converse, they come to understand that they have similar goals in life: they are both seeking love.
When they realise how much they have in common, they leap into one other’s arms and plant passionate kisses on each other’s lips, suggesting that neither of them is looking too far.
This is only the start.
Are they going to be the next power couple in the Dales as the sparks keep flying?
