The iconic Michelle Collins of EastEnders has had a disastrous trip after misplacing her passport at the airport in Malaga.

After learning that her passport was lost, the actress made a desperate request on Twitter/X, warning that she would not be able to return home and requesting guidance from the airline she was flying with.

Regretfully, she then informed her followers that she was unable to board her aircraft and had to wait until the next morning to do it again.

Despite the disruption, she reassured supporters that she was safe and healthy. She continued, saying that she was meant to be filming EastEnders.

Fans were taken aback when Michelle unexpectedly returned to EastEnders earlier this year in the role of Cindy Beale, who was thought to be deceased.

It was revealed that the character had accepted a plea deal and her death had been staged in order for her to enter witness protection.

Cindy adopted the name Rose while she was gone from Albert Square and had a second family with George Knight, the new landlord of Queen Vic (Colin Salmon).

Tension has arisen between George and Cindy since her return, as well as between them and their respective lovers, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe).
