Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ major Mackenzie and Aaron death twist

Are they hiding a secret? (Picture: ITV)

Fans of Emmerdale were devastated by the sudden and tragic death of adolescent Heath Hope (Sebastian Dowling) yesterday night.

In order to drive to a party in Hotten on New Year’s Eve, Cathy (Gabrielle Dowling), Heath, and Angelica (Rebecca Bakes) made the decision to take Wendy’s (Susan Cookson) automobile.

Shortly after Cathy took the wheel while under the influence, and the group was eventually discovered by Wendy and Bob (Tony Audenshaw) after the car collided with a wall.

Heath did not make it out of the incident unscathed, and Bob had to inform Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) and his friends that his son had passed dead. Cathy and Angelica suffered just minor injuries.

Fans of Emmerdale were stunned by the tragic incident, but some are beginning to speculate as to whether Cathy may have swerved the car because of two other villager(s) in secret.

Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) and Aaron (Danny Miller) were spotted driving about earlier in the episode, obviously up to no good once more.

Did Mackenzie and Aaron see the teenagers following a remark about a “close call” with another automobile, which finally resulted in Cathy colliding?

“Why do I think Mack or Aaron might have inadvertently been involved in the Accident or even Nate as he was on the road at the time,” pondered one Twitter/X user.

Someone else conjectured: “This crash is not the only one.” Was Mack involved in any way?

The actor Tony Audenshaw expressed his dismay at this significant turn of events by saying, “It was quite a shock that that’s what they were doing.”

Nonetheless, it’s a clearly significant plot, and I hope they give it right.

The fact that they are brothers and sisters is very amazing. Young people do experience this frequently—it’s usually one of their friends, girlfriends, or boyfriends, or someone they know. They are coping not just with the fact that they murdered someone, or that someone died in an accident, but also with the knowledge that it was someone they truly loved.

“Then, I’m sure that’s what’s going to happen; the entire network of friends and family around here is upset and in mourning.”
