Emmerdale’s Tracy Robinson considers change after Caleb Miligan affair drama

Is it time to keep her distance from Caleb?

In Monday’s episode (January 8), Tracy Robinson of Emmerdale looks for a way to break things off with Caleb Miligan.

Caleb was recently compelled to invest in Tracy’s business plan by her, but she seems to be reconsidering her decision now that she has his back.

It’s clear to viewers that Tracy wants to open a forest nursery, but she needs funding to make her plan a reality.

In an attempt to coerce Caleb into supporting the proposition financially, she threatened to reveal the truth about their recent affair if he refused to comply.

Tracy reasoned that because Nate is his nephew, Caleb had a lot to lose, even if Tracy had been unfaithful to her husband Nate with Caleb. She was right when she surmised that Caleb wouldn’t want to take the chance of facing criticism from his family, especially from his brother Cain, should the scandalous truth ever come to light.

Tracy has the opportunity to present her proposal for a forest nursery to Gabby Thomas in Monday’s episode. Gabby Thomas is searching for a new project to manage.

Tracy is happy that Gabby appears excited about the concept and looks forward to a formal meeting to continue the conversation.

Soon after, Tracy tells Caleb with assurance that she intends to get Gabby to give her money for an investment and then buy him out of the company.

Instead of depending on Caleb, who irritates her with his arrogant doubts about her intentions, Tracy wants her freedom back. In this contest of wills, who will prevail?

The actress who portrays Tracy, Amy Walsh, recently discussed her thoughts on continuing the story of the ongoing romance.

“My initial reaction was not to just be happy for a short while, but to be a little sad for Nate and Tracy when they’re newly married,” she said. It was evidently not long after that I thought, “This is exciting, this is going to be fun to play.”

“In actuality, Tracy has never been the villain. Right now, I find it far more fun to play rather than to take the victim role and to be dishonest and lying.”
