A significant opportunity for Kim Fox and Howie Danes (Tameka Empson and Delroy Atkinson) is about to present itself outside of Albert Square, but it can have disastrous consequences for EastEnders’ struggling Denise Fox (Diane Parish).

When Howie tells Kim that he’s been given a three-month job on a cruise ship, Kim is completely shocked and quickly worries that his head could be turned while he’s gone.

Howie invites her to a corporate picture session to demonstrate that she has no competition in an attempt to win her over.

But when Kim runs across his supervisor, Rory, and realizes she looks a lot like the lady Howie is supposed to spend three months with, her scheme backfires.

The group quickly learns that ticket sales for the trip are declining, and Kim quickly steps in to provide them advice on how to handle the situation using her expertise in social media.

Kim is offered a job as social media manager on the cruise by Rory, who is impressed by her knowledge and abilities. This would allow Kim to accompany Howie, which will soothe her anxiety, while also earning money.

The couple’s life seems to be going well until Kim finds out that Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) has been acting up at school. Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) feels this is because they will soon be traveling.

Kim regrets not considering Denzel’s sentiments, and she and Howie decide to remain in Walford despite the hardship. Denzel, on the other hand, tells them things will be well and begs them to go when they bring it up.

However, Denise’s mental health starts to worry her, so Denzel isn’t the only one who is making them reconsider their departure.

When viewers realize that Denise’s jewelry was buried with Keanu Taylor’s corpse, they will know that she has been distraught and that, should he ever be found, she is the main suspect.

The mention of Christmas sets Denise off, and she dashes out when Kim attempts to speak to her about her mental health, fearing that she could be suffering from PTSD symptoms after allegedly seeing Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) assault.

Kim declines to go on the trip because she is worried about her sister, but Denise later tells Kim that she is just feeling vulnerable due to her marital issues and persuades her to attend.

For their family’s sake, would Kim and Howie seize this once-in-a-lifetime chance and relocate to Walford, or remain behind?
