Mason Radcliffe’s (Luca Toolan) horrifying bullying of Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) is going to resume in Coronation Street, but this time it will take an unexpected turn in the confrontation.
Liam, poor guy, has had a terrible few weeks. Mason and his friends have been abusing him online, throwing trash at him, and even threatening him with a knife.
As they approach one other in the school hallway, Dylan (Liam McCheyne) asks Mason whether he intends to return Liam’s phone. Mason replies with a giggle that if Liam shows up for their meeting, he’s a dead man.
Liam was determined to confront Mason after overhearing their talk, but as shown in this new video, things go horribly wrong very fast.
Mason purposefully riles Liam up outside at the playground after a remark made by Dylan. He becomes enraged and attempts to harm his old buddy, but Liam is unable to hold back and feels ashamed as a result.
Mason hurls Liam’s phone at him, and as things become worse, he grabs Dylan once again and pushes him against a wall.
Next, Mrs. Crawshaw shows up.
Unfortunately, the way things have turned out, poor Liam seems to be at fault rather than Mason and Dylan.
Later in the week, Liam goes with Maria (Samia Longchambon) to the police station after she tells Gary (Mikey North) that he’s done enough harm.
In the meanwhile, Sean (Antony Cotton) lashes out at Gary, telling him that he’s happy that he reported Liam to the police because bullies need to be dealt with.
Maria tells Liam at the station that if he reveals the truth, everything would be OK, but what will he say?
Is this the point at which Liam discloses the full scope of Dylan and Mason’s bullying?
