Coronation Street star Liam McCheyne shares photo with real-life twin as they celebrate 17th birthday

Celebrity Liam McCheyne of Coronation Street recently celebrated his 17th birthday with his twin brother Connor, making it a double celebration.

The actor, who portrays the troubled adolescent Dylan Wilson in the soap opera, celebrated his brother’s birthday by posting a heartfelt message on Instagram.

‘After 17 years of birthday sharing with @connormccheyne, there’s seldom a day when we don’t laugh. Though our paths and beliefs may vary, we can always rely on the same individual. He commented, “I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️” next to a number of pictures of the two brothers taken at different points in their lives.

It is evident that the two are great friends in addition to being brothers from the opening adorable photo of them both laughing broadly at the seashore to the additional photos showing them appropriately dressed for a big event, on the sports field, at school, and wearing army fatigues.

They are quite similar to one other; in fact, at one time, they both had the same role on Corrie.

From 2011 to 2012, Liam and Connor took turns playing Dylan Wilson. However, the character moved away from the cobbles when Dylan moved to London to live with his mother Violet.

Liam assumed the position permanently when Dylan returned to Weatherfield last year, as Connor chose to concentrate on other matters.

Dylan has been a part of a compelling bullying narrative since returning to the Street, where he is being taken advantage of by the ruthless and evil Mason (Luca Toolan).

As Liam has been compelled to pick on his younger neighbour Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall), who has been pushed to the brink of taking some extreme measures in an attempt to rescue himself from the bullying, viewers have seen Liam’s confused sentiments.

I don’t believe he realises what he’s getting himself into since he’s so easily swayed. When the plot was originally revealed, Liam thought, ‘He wants to be like them, fit in with the popular kids.

Numerous co-stars on Corrie are eager to wish him and his brother a happy birthday on his Instagram post, indicating how well-liked he is within the cast.

“Happy birthday to the two of you!” Samia Longchambon wrote, and Tony Maudsley, who plays George Shuttleworth, added, “Happy birthday, twinnies!!! ????????????.”

Celebrities who congratulated the couple included Elle Mulvaney (Amy Barlow), Jodie Prenger (Glenda Shuttleworth), Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby), Gareth Pierce (Todd Grimshaw), and even Corrie’s queen of crime-busting, Vicky Myers, who portrays DS Swain.

There will be a further chapter written. Chapter 17: Written by Liam.

“Let’s toast to another incredible year” ✌️
