In forthcoming EastEnders scenes, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) will continue to spiral out of control, terrifying The Six and giving them hope that the end is nigh.

As if seeing Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) kill Keanu Taylor and then assist her in covering it up wasn’t awful enough for The Six, Denise then misplaced her necklace during the process of burying his corpse, indicating that there is substantial evidence connecting her to the crime.

That reality is really getting to poor Denise, and she will be thinking about it a lot in the next scenes.

She becomes so caught up in it that she forgets her own birthday. When her family surprises her with a party, she becomes so overcome that she had to leave right away.

Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), who is worried, follows, wanting to know what’s wrong. However, Denise finds herself in a tough situation since she can’t open up to him, and soon the couple’s distance is increased even more.

Denise’s outburst upsets and perplexes the family, and because of Raymond’s concern, Denise becomes desperate and thinks of telling Jack everything.

Denise is shocked to find out that Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) and Jack and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) got into a fight the day before baby Charli’s guardianship hearing.

Watchers may recall that on Christmas Day, Denise struck Nish over the head with a champagne bottle in an attempt to rescue Suki Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), which resulted in Nish’s head injury.

Since then, she’s been particularly suspicious that he could recall what really transpired that evening, so she calls Stacey and demands to hear the details of their dispute.

Denise is so alarmed that she leaves just as the families are called into the hearing, despite Stacey’s insistence that it was about Suki, who is now living with the Slaters.

Poor Denise is unable to even get over her concerns when she is sleeping. Later on in the night, she has a restless sleep and finally wakes up screaming to discover that Jack has disappeared.

Later, when she doesn’t show up for the court hearing, the pair gets into a fight, and she wants to know where he went the previous evening. When Jack cites work as an explanation, Denise becomes very paranoid because she thinks the case has something to do with Christmas Day.

In an attempt to calm her fears, Denise takes his phone and finds out. When he discovers it later, there is a fight, and Denise ends herself looking for a strange confidante.

The next day, during Elaine’s psychic night, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Stacey, and Suki get together at the Queen Vic. The ladies watch in horror as Denise enters the stage area while Madame Tellerina is performing.

As she offers to go on stage in the hopes of finding some solace for her hopelessness, things only become worse.

Sadly, it soon becomes apparent that she has lost even more of her grasp on reality when she gets home.
