According to previews for Coronation Street for tonight, Wednesday, January 24, Michael finds himself in the centre of a fire that breaks out at Ed’s builder’s yard.
Michael rushes into the garden, thinking Ed is still inside, as soon as he notices the fire.

Coronation Street spoilers: Michael gets caught up in a fire
Ed’s buddy has given him a spot on his couch, which he informs his family about. In the hopes that Gary would purchase the builder’s yard, he is prepared to move out.
But when Gary disappoints Ed and says he can no longer make an offer on the yard, Ed’s hopes are dashed.
When Marcus, his partner, admits that he can no longer remain on his couch, his day takes a turn for the worst. Ed’s desperate situation quickly gains attention on the street.
Later, believing Ed is there, Michael dashes into the builder’s yard after seeing a fire.
But as the fire grows, Michael is stranded at the location. Will anybody be able to save him before it’s too late, though?
Simon is a nuisance at work.
Bobby is informed by Simon that he feigned illness and really skipped work to go out and party all day with his friends, confessing that he is now suffering from a hangover.
Kirk has hurt his ankle, so Carla orders Simon to drop off a delivery in the Underworld van. The other Underworld employees are not thrilled that Simon is getting off the hook.
Simon won’t perform his job and won’t assist Carla. Will Carla, nevertheless, allow him to continue working at the plant in this manner?
Spoilers for Coronation Street: Bernie suspends Moses
Bernie is shocked to see Billy suffering from back discomfort after assisting Paul with his bath since Moses is running late to tend to Paul.
Later, when Bernie sees Moses and Todd outdoors, she misinterprets the circumstances. Moses tells Todd that he’s been overwhelmed with work, and Todd hugs him.
After getting the incorrect notion and interfering in Moses’ affairs, Bernie ends up reporting him and suspending him. Can she, however, put things right?
Steve is enamoured by Tommy Orpington.
Steve is shocked to learn that Tracy has hired Tommy Orpington, a former Weathy County player, to decorate the home tonight.
It’s evident from Tracy that Tommy doesn’t need diverting. But can Tommy perform his job, and Steve allow him?
