Poor Cathy (Gabrielle Dowling) has had to deal with unimaginable situations that no adolescent should have to deal with, such her twin’s murder, her friend’s falsehoods, and her father’s suspicion. Now that her brother has been put to rest, she must confront her Emmerdale destiny.
All the evidence leads to her, and almost no one believes her when she says she wasn’t driving the night Heath died. However, the truth will come out since Angelica (Rebecca Bakes) is drowning in guilt.
But she owes a debt of gratitude to her parents, Jimmy (Nick Miles) and Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), who pushed her to maintain her decorum.
Nicola finds herself in a difficult situation when she is obliged to resign from her cherished job on the council due to all that has been going on. When the Kings find out the hearing date, they are hesitant to inform Angelica.
Nicola asks Ethan (Emile John) for guidance, but she doesn’t get the answer she wants: it seems like she will have to spend more time indoors and that her baby Angel won’t have a good conclusion.
When Bob (Tony Audenshaw) finds out that Jimmy, an old drinking companion and confidant, was the one who forced Angelica to lie, he becomes upset.
Nicola, who has always been a cautious mom, promises not to share her viewpoint with Angelica. Jimmy, however, is for once opposed to all the lies and secrets, particularly when Nicola advises that she enter a not guilty plea.
Will they be afraid when they see Angelica inside?
In the opposing side, there is good news: Cathy’s accusations have all been withdrawn. At last, the bereaved youngster may begin to go on.
