Star of Coronation Street Charlotte Jordan was somewhat speechless after a very moving gesture from a fan.
Since 2020, the actress has portrayed Daisy Midgeley on the soap opera. She has been a part of various dramatic plotlines, and one fan has shown that they are really enamoured with the star’s soap image.
A admirer informed Charlotte, “PS. I named my daughter Daisy after your Daisy…icon,” during a catch-up over Instagram Stories.
Charlotte answered with a startled selfie, obviously touched by the remark.
“I am crying, it’s so adorable. Please send me a picture of the little queen.”
This happens after Charlotte, who has been Daisy the barmaid for four years, was asked about her ideal plot.
In response, Charlotte said, “Serial killer.” I spoke what I meant to say.
Daisy was not always that lovely, even if she is now a devoted fan favourite, which raises the likelihood of this plot.
Upon her Weatherfield debut, the character had a hint of meanness, making a point of dividing Jenny and Johnny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews and Richard Hawley).
also caused a rift between girlfriend Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) and boyfriend Ryan (Ryan Prescott), leading to the couple’s breakup.
But since then, the character has gained a large following because of her kind and loving personality as well as her bond with Daniel Osborne (Rob Mallard), which the audience found endearing.
Last year, Daisy was the focus of a major plot point when she was being hounded by the villainous Justin (Andrew Still), who was making her life miserable.
Ryan intervened to shield her from Justin’s acid assault attempt on the day of her wedding.
