Star of Coronation Street Alan Halsall has shared some information on his recuperation after surgery he had last year.
Alan, 41, who is most known for portraying Tyrone Dobbs on the programme, recently disclosed on social media that he had significant surgery.
Alan informed his followers that he was in a rehabilitation session and could be seen puffing and gasping while doing a weight workout to regain the strength in his left leg in a video that was posted on his Instagram Story.
Before typing “Facials,” he added GIFs that said “ACL rehab,” “12 weeks,” and “on track.”
Alan gave the camera a hearty thumbs up while resting on a bed in an earlier photo that he posted on Instagram.
“CL Reconstruction surgery ✔️,” he wrote.Well, I had ACL reconstructive surgery on Friday. I’ve been informed that the procedure went quite well.
“I am aware that I have a lengthy recovery period of nine to twelve months ahead of me, but I have faith in my family and friends to help me get there.” ????
“Thank you to the amazing,” he went on. The Oaklands xx staff, along with my personal nurse Ratched @missdrewmerry93, are all highly appreciated. Do you have any advice or ideas for rehab?
When Tyrone first met Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney), a recovered drug addict and his biological mother, he had to go through a trying and painful period before making his brief escape from the soap opera.
Tyrone had been under the impression for the most part of his childhood that his mother had passed away. So when Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) and Cassie returned to the cobblestones, Tyrone was taken aback to learn that Evelyn had been aware of Cassie’s location for more than a year.
