Though terrified Denise Fox (Diane Parish), who has gone to great measures to conceal her murderous secret, may be about to reveal all of The Six’s whereabouts in forthcoming scenes.
Since discovering that her necklace had dropped into Keanu’s improvised grave, Denise has been going through a lot, and should the corpse ever be discovered, she will be the main suspect.
Despite her pleas for assistance, none of The Six agreed to help her unearth it once again. Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) even threatened to frame her if she attempted to do it on her own.
As a result, Denise felt completely alone. Having no family members to turn to, she began to spiral out of control as fear and guilt took over.
When her birthday finally arrives, she is in such a condition that she has entirely forgotten about it and is quickly overcome by her family’s festivities.
Her husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), who is demanding to know what’s happening, follows her out as she panics.
Denise is unwilling to confide in Jack because she knows that even a little mistake may land The Six in jail for many years. This keeps Denise from opening up and only serves to exacerbate their relationship.
Her unpredictable attitude leaves the family feeling terrified and perplexed, and when Raymond later asks Denise to return to being his mother, she is overcome with a strong desire to make things right.
She thinks she has to tell investigator Jack everything, however, in order to do this.
Will she follow through on her plan, or will she keep suffering in quiet as her family’s concerns mount?
