After confessing about Heath Hope’s (Sebastian Dowling) death in Emmerdale, Angelica King (Rebecca Bakes) is still dealing with the fallout from her deeds.
After getting in an automobile accident at the beginning of the year, teenager Heath passed away.
Cathy (Gabrielle Dowling) and Angelica were also in the car. After the accident, Cathy attempted to persuade her loved ones that Angelica was behind the wheel when the collision occurred, but the little child refuted Cathy’s statements, giving the impression that she was lying.
Angelica told her mother Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) the truth on the day of Heath’s burial. Angel battled her guilt after seeing Heath’s family bid him farewell and informed Nicola that she would be driving the vehicle after all.
Angelica, who is outside their home and has a lot on her mind, is approached by Nicola and Jimmy in this new video.
After assuring Angelica that they would be there for her no matter what transpires in court tomorrow, the pair becomes sidetracked when they see Wendy (Susan Cookson) and Bob (Tony Audenshaw) getting the B&B ready.
Business partners Jimmy and Nicola come up to ask what they can do to assist Bob, but a distraught and angry Bob doesn’t want to talk to them.
Then, certain that it’s best to buy the Kings out of the company, Bob says he’ll need to get his hands on some cash quickly.
Angelica is troubled by the rage and yelling and wonders whether people can ever forgive her for her part in Heath’s death.
Actress Nicola Wheeler said, “Nicola wants to protect Angelica and I guess it’s while there’s an element of hope Nicola wants to cling to that.”
We’ve seen what happens when people tell falsehoods, and we know that Angel couldn’t handle it, so even if she knows in her heart that it’s absurd, telling Angel the truth would be the wisest course of action. A fourteen-year-old obviously cannot. Furthermore, Angel’s internal agony over what she done continues.
“Someone still has to deal with the fact that they unintentionally killed their friend while all of this is going on.” And because they’re fixated on the precise penalty, none of it is being addressed at the time.
