Coronation Street spoilers: Sad exit as another character departs leaving their lover broken

Moses was working as Paul’s PA (Picture: ITV)

In tonight’s (January 29) episode of Coronation Street, newbie Moses (Michael Fatogun) disclosed some information that dashed Todd Grimshaw’s (Gareth Pierce) hopes of starting a new romance.

Moses was Paul’s (Peter Ash) PA till last week. He got along well with Paul and Billy (Daniel Brocklebank), and he was often seen thanking them for their understanding when he had to be late due to a prior appointment.

Sadly, Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) caused Moses to lose his job last week.

She thought Moses was skipping when she spotted him talking to Todd on the street, so she called his supervisor and lodged a complaint.

Moses was fired because of the other people’s complaints about his tardiness, which only occurred because he took care of too many people.

Moses revealed to Todd tonight that he would soon be moving to London to work with his cousin, a car wash attendant.

When Bernie saw Moses with Todd, she assumed he was skiving.

Todd, who was devastated, proposed that they attempt to get Moses’s work back, but Moses recognised that quitting to take a new job—even if it wasn’t what he wanted—was preferable than going without pay for a while.

Moses, who just went on a date with Todd and believed “he had won the lottery,” is saddened by his departure.

Hopefully, Todd will eventually find happiness.
