Next week on Coronation Street, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) and Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) may have their affair revealed when Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) stops them on his way home.
Not long after Tracy hired Tommy to paint and decorate, Steve packed up and departed from the cobbles to have a vacation with his daughter Emma in France.
Though Steve was devastated to go at the same moment as his football idol showed up, he hasn’t realised Tommy O has been up to anything more than painting his bedroom walls and mending kitchen cabinets.
As Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) and Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) compete for Tommy’s attention, Tracy seizes their opportunity and tells Tommy to contact the store with his invoice since Steve is expecting back tomorrow and it will be their last opportunity to spend time together.
Steve tells Ken Barlow (William Roache) and Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) that he is going to wow Tracy and bring back the spark in their marriage when he gets home early.
At the flower store, Tracy isn’t thinking about her relationship with Steve at all as she switches the sign to “closed” and gives Tommy a kiss.
When Steve gets at the store on his way to look for his wife, the door is closed.
Steve, who is obviously inquisitive, yells that he knows Tracy is inside.
Steve is stunned when Tracy carefully opens the door, Tommy trailing after her.
Can they, however, come up with a reason, or is this the point at which Tommy and Tracy’s treachery is exposed?
“Tracy and Tommy have a great chemistry,” Matt Milburn informed us.
I believe he like her feisty demeanour, snappy banter, and rapid retorts. He enjoys being always alert. In some respects, she’s not an easy target.
They simply seem to have a connection that none of them can quite put their finger on. Perhaps he is more drawn to her since she isn’t on the menu.
