Only last summer, after a covert reignited romance, Emmerdale’s Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) and Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) tied the knot.
But even during the honeymoon phase after their spontaneous nuptials, in which Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) declared them husband and wife, Amy Walsh foresaw difficult times ahead for the happy pair.
She cautioned, saying, “It’s like domestic bliss, hit with all the bumps that come with that.” “There are many divergences in the path.”
Regretfully, it seems that the pair is about to cross a very important roadblock. In later episodes, Tracy shockingly tells Nate that she no longer loves him, therefore it may possibly be the end for the two of them.
All of this follows Tracy’s foolish liaison with Caleb Milligan (William Ash). Although they had previously said that their relationship would be casual, Tracy quickly started calling Caleb names. When Ruby, played by Beth Cordingly, arrived in the hamlet shortly after, Tracy recognised she had been misled about how “over” Caleb’s marriage had really been.
Tracy has expressed her love for Nate to Caleb on many occasions, but it seems that the thrill of the extramarital affair has changed her sentiments, and she is unable to consider returning to her husband’s daily routine.
When Tracy tells Nate she no longer loves him, he is crushed and becomes enraged, demanding to know why. He storms out of the home, unable to comprehend what has occurred, and walks aimlessly about the town when Tracy refuses to respond.
Caleb finds him and grudgingly extends an invitation to return to home.
Ruby quickly becomes interested, and as Nate claims he believes Tracy was seeing someone else, she sets out to discover Tracy’s secret lover’s identity. When she discovers that Nicky (Lewis Cope) is more knowledgeable about the circumstances than he has been revealing, things get even more fascinating.
