This will mean she will take more time away from the soap.
In a recent Emmerdale spoiler video, Zoe Henry’s character Rhona Goskirk gets some news that breaks her heart.
Rhona has developed an intense love for baby Ivy, whom she took in after Gus Malcolms (Alan McKenna) was unable to deal with the death of his wife during delivery.
Even though Rhona is Ivy’s biological mother, she has no legal claim to the kid since Gus utilized the embryos they had stored without her consent. This means that Rhona always knew that Ivy would ultimately return to live with Gus.
Regretfully for Rhona, the new spoiler video suggests that that moment could come sooner rather than later.
After being called to the Woolpack by Gus and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), Rhona immediately puts up her guard.
She becomes anxious when Gus says he wants to discuss things further and that he understands how important Ivy is to her and how hard it will be to let her leave.
Gus says he believes he is ready to take on a more active role as Ivy’s father, and Rhona snaps as she reveals she doesn’t like where this is headed.
He tells her that even though they had intended to take things slowly, he felt prepared to spend the night with her.
Rhona objects immediately away, saying that now isn’t the proper moment, but Gus doesn’t back down and says they need to make a plan so he can have Ivy back full-time.
After these incidents, Rhona finds out that Gus is leaving to France, which means she won’t be able to see Ivy again, which just makes things more dramatic.
Later in the week, Marlon comes home to the horrifying discovery that Rhona and baby Ivy are gone.
