After revealing she was pregnant in December of last year, former Coronation Street actress Sair Khan proudly flaunted her growing baby bulge.
With her due date fast approaching, the actress—who portrays Alya Nazir on the ITV serial opera—is well on her way to becoming a mother.
With her palm resting on her growing belly, the soon-to-be mother, 36, showcased her bodycon grey dress and knitted sweater on her most recent Instagram Story.
With the caption, Sair said, “Not long now.”
After a “difficult year,” the I’m A Celebrity actress revealed in December of last year that she was expecting her first child.
She greeted her 278k followers with, “Hello.” I haven’t posted on this site in a little time, and it has been a genuine roller coaster of emotions.
“Given everything going on in the world, we know it’s acceptable to maintain hope and pray for peace while also acknowledging that we are blessed and grateful, but it didn’t feel like the right time to share.”
Before sharing their wonderful news, she went on to provide an update on boyfriend Nathan Chilton’s health. He is now receiving treatment for a cancer.
“We both had a difficult time last year because Nathan had to have surgery to remove a chondroblastoma from his pelvis.” We still have a long way to go in order to overcome the many challenges that come with the cancer spreading to his lungs.
‘Life can be difficult and there’ll always be challenges to face but there are also important lessons to be learnt and gifts to be cherished.
“We can’t wait for Baby Chilton to arrive in the spring of 2024.”
Co-stars of Sair on Corrie, Elle Mulvaney and Amy Barlow, were quick to congratulate him in the comments section, writing: “Congratulations!”

After meeting via a mutual acquaintance, Sair and Nathan started dating in 2020 and have been ‘head over heals’ for one other ever since.
This spring, their new bundle of joy is expected to arrive.
