Charity and Mack’s relationship has had it’s ups and downs

Emmerdale fans ‘complain to Ofcom’ as Charity makes decision over marriage

‘Complaint to Ofcom’ is how Emmerdale viewers express their dissatisfaction with the situation between Charity and Mack. The couple has been in and out of relationships since before they were married, as soap opera viewers are aware.

In a recent episode, Charity begged Mack for help as she was still having trouble following her shooting of mobster Damon “Harry” Harris.

In tonight’s episode of the popular ITV soap opera, the couple had a much-needed discussion about their future together.

Mack was understandably concerned when he learned that Charity had left the village. It was not long before he went in search of her.

Emmerdale’s Mackenzie and Charity have had a tough year

When Mack got to Charity’s location years before, she had collapsed there. They made the decision to seize the chance for an open discussion, during which Charity acknowledged her desire to end the relationship in order to give herself some space.

Charity claimed that this was what she wanted even though Mack urged her not to stop the relationship. Then everything changed when Mack yelled that he’d never expected her to “give up on someone you love” and lashed out.

After that, Charity changed her mind and declared that Mack was her soul mate and that she shouldn’t let him go. At-home viewers immediately took to social media to express their outrage, accusing Mack of “gaslighting” Charity.

@Russoalex1992 “He’s gaslighted her… AGAIN!” was tweeted. Charity, you ought to have disregarded the little rat’s words and left like you said you would have. Furthermore, he is not your soul mate! #Emmerdale.

“Mackenzie gaslighted charity again, and now she’s back in his orbit, declaring that he’s her soulmate,” said @kylieskaty on Instagram. #Emmerdale

“Writing to Ofcom for the level of actual distress I know feel over charity forgiving that d-ward #emmerdale,” said @sofaneilas in a remark.

As stated by @Emmerdale2dae: “They simply had to act, didn’t they? Following a five-minute breakup, Mack and Charity are once again a couple.

“The problem with Charity/Mack is that there’s no chemistry between them that they act like they don’t even believe their own storylines,” @meyouyoume30 continued. They have only served to undermine one another (#yawn #emmerdale).
