Could Tom’s behaviour take deadly proportions for Belle?

When Tom King (James Chase) made his ten-year comeback to the ITV village of the same name last year, Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) was swept off her feet by the son of the evil Carl King.

But as Tom began acting strangely—verbally abusing Belle, gaslighting her, even beating her—what had seemed like an exhilarating new opportunity at love for Belle turned sour.

Belle has not spoken about her experience, even on her wedding day, despite having suffered obvious psychological assault.

She might not have much longer to call for assistance, unfortunately.

Scenes that will premiere on our screens next week see Tom taking his mind games to a new level as Belle keeps putting her work ahead of her desire to start a family.

Tom is anxious and agitated as he continues to chastise Belle for delaying having children. Tom has been eager to jump into commitment from the beginning.

Sadly, Belle discovers that Tom attempted to damage a job opportunity with local wedding and event planner Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), and he quickly learns the truth.

Later scenes have Belle working the reception at Tom’s workplace, the veterinary clinic, which surprises Suzy.

Suzy makes a hint about the Take A Vow employment offer to Belle, who is oblivious to it.

enraged, Nevertheless, Belle chooses to step in for Tom and act as though he delivered the message.

But Belle accuses Tom of lying to Suzy once she gets home and can tell him what she found.

She is furious, but Tom’s deceitful tactics work wonders as he calms her down.

But as soon as Belle takes the job, Tom shows his true colors again, and he becomes enraged when Suzy calls Belle’s first client her “perfect match.”

The day of Marlon Dingle’s party comes and goes, and just when you thought things couldn’t get much worse, Tom starts abusing her even more.

To what extent will Tom go to acquire control over Belle?

How is Belle going to handle Tom’s abuse going forward?

What matters more is: will she even make it?
