Emmerdale producers issued an update just as the credits rolled
Upon receiving a brief update from the ITV soap bosses on Wednesday night, fans of Emmerdale expressed their dissatisfaction.
As the credits rolled on the most recent episode, a post was made on the official Instagram account of the long-running drama. Viewers will be aware that despite receiving a breast cancer diagnosis, Chas has only taken two weeks off from her job at the Woolpack.
Aaron fears that she is not accepting the whole truth of what is happening, but Chas attempted to give Paddy a folder that included her burial arrangements and life insurance policies.
Chas advised Paddy to “humour her” when he refused to accept the folder, insisting that there was no way she would pass away. Then she confided in him about her worries regarding the procedure.
The two began kissing, swept up in the familiarity of the moment, but Paddy withdrew as soon as he realized how serious his error had been. He later told Mandy, who appeared to be inconsolable.
The Emmerdale executives posted a picture of the kiss on social media with the caption, “Poor Mandy.” Fans have also answered in the comments area with promptness.
