Emmerdale star Laura Norton addresses Kerry’s mysterious secret

Laura Norton, an Emmerdale actor, has commented on Kerry Wyatt’s enigmatic secret.

Kerry returned to the Yorkshire Dales in a recent scene, and there were signs that she might be keeping something from her family. When she was observed hiding jewels and cash that had been taken from the cruise she had been working on, these suspicions were confirmed.

“Nothing is as it seems,” Norton said to Inside Soap. “She appears to be saying one thing, but her true meaning is quite different.

“A little mischief has escaped from a cruise ship in a suitcase, and it will follow her about for a while. However, it’s not really heavy; people could find it funny.” The soap opera actress continued by hinting to Kerry’s predicament.

In addition, Norton was questioned about her character’s future romantic relationships after her splits with Dan Spencer and Al Chapman.

“She’s causing so much trouble,” she stated, indicating that a romantic plotline was not on the horizon. “I truly like that Kerry is a single pringle.

“In my opinion, Kerry and Amy’s love story is the true one. Even though they’re still not perfect, I’d love to see these two temporarily become sisters despite all of her poor decisions and missteps.”

When Norton spoke exclusively to Digital Spy last month about her return to Emmerdale, she described it as “amazing” to be back on set.

“They’ve very gradually eased me back in.” I’ve had one day a week, then two, then three days a week; I’m not sure if that was intentional. Thus, I think they’ve given me a good chance to get settled,” she said.

“Every department made it very easy for me – the script, the story, the writing and then the costume,” she stated. “As soon as you put Kerry’s clothes on, it’s just like: ‘Ah, there she is.'”
