The celebrity has been candid about what comes after his ice skating triumph.
Ryan Thomas has said that, following his victory on Dancing on Ice, he will resume acting.
Last week, the 39-year-old took home the medal from the ITV skating competition series.
Ryan, who spent 16 years on Coronation Street as Jason Grimshaw, is already planning his next performance.
Ryan disclosed that he is considering a comeback to acting after leaving the Weatherfield Cobbles in 2016.
The father of three clarified to the Daily Star, saying, “I have been talking about returning to acting.
“I need to make the most of my trade because that is what it is after all.”
“There’s no definite role and it would all depend on what comes up but we’ll see what happens,” he cautioned, nevertheless.
In 2018, Ryan briefly starred in the Australian soap drama Neighbours.
He portrayed Rafael Humphreys, a man out to get revenge on Paul Robinson for his mother’s passing.
Rafael’s mother had been employed at the businessman’s factory, but the star eventually moved off Ramsay Street when she realized Paul wasn’t the reason of her demise.
Ryan participated in Celebrity Big Brother and is engaged to Lucy Mecklenburgh.
He made an appearance on the final season of the popular reality show on Channel 5 in 2018, which turned out to be one of the most contentious seasons to date.
Exaggerating a lighthearted punch from Ryan Thomas, the former Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett enraged viewers and sparked hundreds of Ofcom complaints.
