After much anticipation, Rita Simons finally returns to the soap opera scene as Marie Fielding on Hollyoaks.
At The Dog, Marie makes her debut by breaking up a disagreement between her two boys during a baby shower.
Mercedes receives an invitation to Leela’s gender reveal party while she is expecting Joel’s child, but naturally, Mercedes decides she wants one too. As viewers are aware, Mercedes is expecting twins in an unusual UK soap opera plot. The babies will have two separate fathers.
Although Leela isn’t entirely happy with the previous Dog landlady’s attempts to make the gathering a joint party, she chooses to ignore it.
Joel and Abe soon start fighting, but before the two rival siblings can get any farther, mum Marie—who is wearing Mercedes’ dress—suddenly shows up!

In an effort to keep their secret safe, Stacey begs Jack to comply with Denise’s requests. The Dingles get their gene test results in Emmerdale
In order to determine whether they have inherited the defective BRCA2 gene, Cain, Caleb, and Aaron get ready. When Cain tests negative, Moira is relieved, and the Miligan family also feels relief when Caleb receives the same result. But Aaron discovers he possesses the gene, and he lies to Chas when he questions him.
Coronation Street legend targeted in brutal attack
Since Roy is being investigated for Lauren’s “murder,” Max visits Reece in prison to see if the far-right gang might be involved. However, after Reece leaks information linking Roy to the crime, two suspicious men confront Roy in the cafe, locking the door and putting him in danger.
Chelsea takes shocking action in Neighbours
Chelsea is furious when Paul compliments Krista on the success of the lie-in, and she becomes even more resentful when he declines to take out the clause regarding Terese from his will. Chelsea throws away her contraception pills after realising that having kids is the path to his heart and tries to woo Paul once more.
Dean ruins Jade’s fundraiser in EastEnders
With the understanding that Dean won’t be present, Jade’s fundraiser is scheduled to happen at the Vic. To Linda’s dismay, Dean, however, connives to gain entry to the event so he can witness Jade’s speech, and he begs his daughter to remain where she is. But Jade wants to travel to Pakistan with her mother. Meanwhile, Linda is able to reveal to Jean that Dean is impersonating her.
Tom’s abuse escalates in Emmerdale
Belle receives criticism from Tom for delaying starting a family. But as soon as Suzy brings up the job opportunity at Take A Vow, which Belle was not aware of before, she becomes sidetracked. Belle confronts Tom after realising he was at fault, but he is able to placate her. However, Belle’s acceptance of the job and subsequent late hours drive Tom crazy, and his abuse only gets worse at Marlon’s party.
Coronation Street’s sinister cult story continues as Leanne is left in danger
Rowan is happy to see Leanne again and they attend another session together. After talking about the course, Rowan remarks that he hopes to meet her again. Leanne tells Nick how much she admires Rowan and how he inspires her.
George breaks down in EastEnders
George is made a fuss of on his birthday. Gloria’s arrival sets the cat among the pigeons but she just wants to talk, with George agreeing to hear her out. Gloria insists that he had a happy childhood but it all proves too much for George, who loses his temper, leading him to break down in Elaine’s arms.
