Is Ben going down for good?
The most recent EastEnders spoilers indicate that Callum Highway will be shocked when Ben Mitchell is arrested by the police at his birthday celebration.
As Ben is detained on suspicion of a previous offense, Callum and the Mitchells try to deal with the consequences. Can they save Ben from his precarious situation?
Callum gets an unpleasant birthday surprise
When Callum finds out that Ben hasn’t planned anything for his birthday, he is dissatisfied. Ben, however, ultimately decides to organize a surprise birthday celebration after some guidance from his father and persuasion from Jay and Lexi.
Callum is moved by Ben’s kind offer. But when the cops show up to take Ben into custody, things take an unanticipated and disastrous turn.

The family falls apart as Ben faces questioning
Ben claims he is innocent at the station as information about a previous crime comes to light. Tensions between Jay, Kathy, and Phil increase at home. Ben’s lawyer, Ritchie, is called in by Phil.
When Lexi gets home, the family is fighting, and she wants to know the truth. Lexi insists she should be included in the meeting when Ritchie comes to talk to Phil.
Subsequently, Ben calls Phil with a request for his father.
Phil and Callum make a plan
Jay and Lexi visit Ben at the station of police. But when things don’t go as planned, Lexi makes the decision to leave her dad.
Callum later had a heart-to-heart with Phil after he declines to visit Ben. Callum is urged by Phil to give his son another chance.
Kathy, meantime, begins to question Phil’s behavior. She confronts Phil while the Mitchells are still coping with the consequences of Ben’s incarceration.
And Callum makes the most of his career as the family tries to figure out what to do next.
