Viewers of Emmerdale witnessed horrifying sights on Friday night as Tom King used Belle Dingle as a tool after torturing her horribly, but two villagers might figure out what’s going on.
Tom King’s disgusting actions towards his wife Belle Dingle in the most recent episode of Emmerdale may have hinted at who will expose him.
Fans witnessed a deranged Tom continuing to mistreat Belle on Friday night, deceiving her into thinking she was at fault. Fans have noticed an increase in his activities in the last few weeks, following the soap opera’s announcement of a coercive control plot for the couple.
He has made her feel inadequate and has even tried to ruin her job by making fun of her and her family. In an attempt to gain complete control over her, he punishes her whenever she confronts him or stands up to him by either ignoring her or leading her to believe that it is she who is causing him harm.
He pretended to be struggling and blamed her for everything, all the while making up stories about stress and anxiety brought on by her “changed” attitude. Belle even told Mandy Dingle a falsehood about an event in which Tom abandoned her to walk home by herself after she broke an ornament holding the ashes of her late mother Lisa.
However, Belle yelled at Tom on the most recent show, and they were watched by a crowd. After things got out of hand, Belle cried out that she “hated” her husband because he would not talk to her or listen to her.
With a worried expression on his face, vicar Charles Anderson observed the couple arguing and Belle become quite distraught before leaving. Prior to this, Paddy Kirk heard Belle pleading with Tom to stop ignoring her and complaining that Tom wasn’t paying attention to her or acknowledging her emotions.
Unlike Tom, Paddy showed obvious concern for Belle and inquired about her well-being. Does this imply that Paddy and Charles may also be concerned about Belle’s behaviour, as well as perhaps Tom’s?
If so, won’t it be just a matter of time until someone notices Tom’s sinister actions or maybe hears about Belle’s sadness via Paddy or Charles? It might be a hint of Tom’s demise and the fact that he will be rattled shortly.
