Coronation Street spoilers are anticipating trouble on the way for Coronation Street’s Daisy Midgeley and Bethany Platt.
Next week’s Coronation Street viewers on ITV can anticipate a major shock for Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan), who is betrayed by Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon). According to official soap opera spoilers, Bethany offers to assist Daisy with dinner preparation in an effort to build a stronger relationship. But nothing is what it seems since Bethany takes advantage of a chance to go behind Daisy’s back.
Bethany increases the oven temperature for the apple pie while Daisy is preoccupied. After realizing the apple pie is burnt to a crisp, Daisy leaves Bethany and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) to finish preparing the rest of the meal and goes to get a replacement.
But when Bethany has a brief minute by herself in the Rovers pub, she takes advantage of the space to quickly grab something from her handbag, dig through drawers, and leave. Subsequently, it comes to light that Bethany seized Stephen Reid’s (Todd Boye) journal and looked through it with curiosity. Will Bethany, nevertheless, discover the reality regarding the Rovers?
Coronation Street had previously disclosed that Daisy had located the money that serial killer Stephen had taken, but she had neglected to give it back to Carla Barlow (Alison King).
Daisy, on the other hand, believed that the money would be better used to save the notorious Rovers tavern.
In an earlier interview with Digital Spy, Charlotte Jordan expounded on Daisy’s emotions around the incident.
“She’s afraid Carla will discover that she used fraud to obtain the Rovers,” the woman stated.
“It’s very high stakes so she is scared of Carla finding out the truth and obviously, Daisy does not want to go to prison!”
“Daisy is viewing the money as Stephen’s money instead of Carla’s money,” the woman continued. Otherwise, it feels a little too intimate and near to home.
In the past, Bethany and Daisy had argued about the bartender’s decision to fire Bethany from her journalism position after she discovered that Daisy had been deceiving Ryan.
