Coronation Street spoilers – Devastating update on Aggie rocks the Bailey family

After spending months away from Coronation Street, Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) will give her family another update in future episodes.

The character was last shown on the cobbles in the summer of 2023, and many Corrie fans are still curious as to whether we will see her again given her mysterious disappearance.

Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) disclosed in a November 2017 episode that Aggie will not be spending Christmas with the family because she is now taking care of his ailing Auntie.

Most recently, Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) decided to go from Weatherfield to spend time with Aggie in Birmingham after his gambling addiction caused him to notice a large fire at the builder’s yard.

When Michael shows Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) the last demand letter that Ed received in the mail in upcoming episodes of the ITV soap opera, Dee-Dee is taken aback to see how much her dad still owes.

At the ideal moment, Ed arrives back from Birmingham and informs Michael that Aggie has given him the order to march and that he will not be going home.

Michael gives his father a consoling embrace and swiftly puts the letter out of sight, but will the Baileys be able to save enough money to cover their expenses?

And if Aggie never returns, how will Ed’s life be?

Aside from the revelation of Ed’s indebtedness, Dee-Dee is currently overburdened.

She is now collaborating with Roy (David Neilson) in the hopes of gathering sufficient evidence to disprove his involvement in Lauren Fitton’s disappearance, but she will reveal to Adam (Sam Robertson) and Alya (Sair Khan) the next week that the odds are stacked against the café owner.

It’s not looking good. Will Dee-Dee be able to spare Roy from prison time?
