Emmerdale spoilers: Mandy Dingle and Paddy Kirk’s relationship to be saved by the person they’d least expect

They might get a happy ending after all (Picture: ITV)

During Tuesday’s (March 26) visit to Emmerdale, Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) were still at odds because Mandy couldn’t get over the fact that Paddy had kissed his ex-wife Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and then lied about it.

Mandy’s emotions of insecurity and betrayal skyrocketed after she first forgave him when he confessed to the kiss right away. It was Chas, not Paddy, who had broken off the kiss first.

In the previous episode, Mandy decided to balance things out by snogging Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) at random, a move that stunned Paddy and the GP equally. This decision resulted in a chaotic meeting in the Woolpack to try to resolve things.

She informed Paddy that it hadn’t made things equal either. She even assured him that they were better off together. She remembered how he had seemed like her prince charming when he had proposed to her when they had been younger. However, she lamented, “we don’t get our happily ever after.”

The issues arose following Paddy and Chas’s kiss (Image: ITV).

Mandy’s profound feelings of insecurity are the source of all of this. Do you recall the time at the veterinary ball when she was being mistreated and Paddy failed to defend her, humiliating her in front of everyone?

A part of Mandy believes that Paddy doesn’t think she’s worthy. The fact that he kissed Chas seemed to corroborate that.

Mandy offered to pick up Eve (Bella James) from the nursery and bring her off at home with Chas while Paddy was at work.

Upon reaching the Woolpack, she discovered Chas attempting to recuperate from her surgery, but Caleb (played by William Ash) was also present and adamant on contributing. With lightning speed, Mandy ejected Caleb and turned to leave, but Chas pretended to be in pain, hoping that Mandy would turn around and return.

Chas wanted to talk about something. She discussed the kiss, explaining that Paddy was simply “confused for a second.” Chas made it quite evident how Paddy feels.

“He wants you,” she informed Mandy. “You are his one true love.”

Hopefully, Mandy will be persuaded to give Paddy another try by Chas’s words alone.

They do love each other – first, last, and forever, as Lisa Riley informed us. Always. From their first marriage, they have always been. They are bound together by something unique and unbreakable.

To the elation of the couple’s devoted followers, it appears that Mandy may soon win her happily ever after.
